Our Favorite Features Inside the 2025 Kia Sportage

Standing Out in a Crowded Compact SUV Market

The 2025 Kia Sportage stands out from the crowd in the compact SUV market thanks to its innovative engineering, high-tech features, and comfortable interior. In typical Kia style, the 2025 Sportage has an affordable price tag but is loaded with luxurious features.

We invite you to visit Kia of Leesburg near The Villages and Fruitland Park to test drive the new Kia Sportage and experience all it has to offer. We’re confident you’ll like our favorite features in the attractive and high-tech compact crossover SUV.

Exceptional Safety & Interior Technology

Kia doesn’t skimp on tech features, even in the entry-level trim. The LX comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also has HD Radio, voice recognition, one USB port, Bluetooth, and a 12.2-inch digital gauge cluster.

The standard safety features are equally impressive. All trims have Forward Collision Warning, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Tracing Assist, Lane-Departure Warning, Lane-Keep Assist, Driver-Attention Monitoring, Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Automatic High Beams, and Rear Parking Sensors.

Moving up one trim to the EX adds more technology. This trim has a 12.3-inch touchscreen, but the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are wired. It also has wireless device charging, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, three USB ports, and a remote start. The added safety features include Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers.

The mid-level SX trim adds an eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ambient LED interior lighting, Highway Driving Assist with Stop-and-Go Adaptive Cruise Control, and Intersection Assist. The top trims from the SX Prestige to the X-Pro Prestige have a Blind-Spot Camera, Front Parking Sensors, and the popular Surround-View Camera System.

Fuel-Efficient Power & Engine Options

Kia outfits the 2025 Sportage with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The X-Line, X-Pro, and X-Pro Prestige trims have standard all-wheel drive, while the others have available all-wheel drive.

Models with front-wheel drive get an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 25/33 MPG, while the all-wheel-drive models have an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 23/26 MPG.

Kia also offers the Sportage with a mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain. The mild hybrid pairs two electric motors with a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine, while the plug-in hybrid adds a single electric motor and a bigger battery pack to the 1.6-liter engine. The hybrid delivers 227 horsepower, while the PHEV delivers 261 horsepower and provides about 34 miles of all-electric range. The Sportage Hybrid gets an EPA-estimated 42/44 MPG, while the Sportage PHEV gets an EPA-estimated 36/35 MPG.
